Peer Steinbrück has a renown for speaking out loud. When he was Germany's Secretary of the Treasury, he resolulety tackled the financial crisis and thus made not only friends in Europe. Now, after his resignation in autumn 2009, he has become more popular than ever. But he has not been willing to give any interviews - unil now. For this documentary, Peer Steinbrück offers a unique insight into the turmoils of the financial crisis, when Germany's and Europe's economic fate was at stake. Being independent now, Steinbrück will tell some awful truths never heard before.
