Susanne Zimmermann was born in Frankfurt/Main in 1961. After her education in management she organized the production of educational and training videos at M.I.T. Video Produktions GmbH. In 1990 she became Production Manager at SAT.1 where she supervised live broadcasts of sport events all over the world. At the founding of Gruner + Jahr Film- und Fernsehproduktions- GmbH (G+J FFP) she established the production department. As Head of Production she was responsible for the budgeting of new TV formats and the production of series such as “360 Grad GEO Reportage”. From 2001 she worked as freelance Production Manager based in San Francisco, Ca. She budgeted and managed documentary films (SWR, Arte, ZDF, TV3) and worked for the annual ProSieben Oscar show as well as for various live shows and sport events (boxing, Olympic Games, NFL Football Superbowl, etc.). 2008/2009 she was a lecturer in Media Production at the University of Western Sydney in Australia. Susanne Zimmermann is Head of Production at ECO-Media TV since January 2011.
