He studied philosophy and history in Leipzig and Manchester/England. After graduation he worked as intern at the ZDF and the publisher Reclam. Michael Fraentzel also worked as researcher for Spiegel TV. In August 2006 he started a traineeship at ECO Media and after having absolved it, he is working as author and producer.
